For instance, the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, which is the tallest building in the world, stands at 828 meters, this height roughly 10 times lower than Mount Everest. Even the tallest man-made structure, the Tokyo Sky Tree in Japan, stands at 634 meters and is short by over 8,200 meters compared to Mt. Everest.

The form was inspired by the outstretched hand gesture made by Malaysia's first prime minister in 1957 when he declared the nation's independence at Stadium Merdeka, which is part of the Merdeka 118 area.
