EBC Helicopter Return Tour

Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour Route Overview

This special tour package, which includes a helicopter ride to Everest, is intended for luxury-seeking individuals who don't want to undertake a strenuous trek and have limited time for an adventure in Nepal.

The trip starts early in the morning with a hotel pickup and transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport. It takes about 25 to 30 minutes to get to the terminal.

When you get to the airport, you will have to go through the weight check, passport verification, security screening, and boarding pass check before you can enter the waiting area.

The helicopter then takes off from Kathmandu and heads towards the Himalayan Khumbu region, where you'll get your first aerial views of terraced hills, deep valleys, traditional villages, and dense forests.

Additionally, the helicopter will first stop at the Lukla Airport to refuel, giving you the opportunity to see the dramatic surroundings of the world's famous mountain gateway as well as the local Sherpa way of life.

From Lukla, the helicopter tour to EBC follows the route to the Dudh Koshi valley and the classic Everest Base Camp trek. You will pass through iconic stops on the EBC trek, including Namche Bazaar, Khumbjung, Tengboche, Phortse, and glacial river systems.

The helicopter then gradually approaches the Everest Base Camp and the Khumbu Glacier, giving you a close-up aerial view of major mountain peaks like Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Pumori, and Ama Dablam before circling around Kala Patthar, the highest point at 5,644 metres.

For your information, the heli ride uses a shuttle system to safely drop and pick up passengers at the designated location for the best weight distribution for groups larger than three and weighing more than 250 kg.

Following the scenic Everest flypast, the helicopter lands at the Everest View Hotel at 3,880 metres (12,730 feet) in Syangboche, the world's highest hotel, where you can enjoy a luxurious breakfast with views of Everest, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, and Kongde.

Similarly, after a relaxing breakfast and breakfast at Everest View Hotel, you return to your helicopter, and the return flight retraces the route above Sagarmatha National Park, passing over Namche, Lukla, and the serene Khumbu valley, with another brief stop at Lukla for refuelling.

The final leg of this EBC Heli Tour returns passengers to the TIA, followed by a private transfer to their hotel, which officially concludes the tour.

How to prepare for the Helicopter tour to Everest Base Camp - 1 Day?

The one-day helicopter tour to EBC is a quick and easy way to see the high-altitude Khumbu region of Nepal. However, adequate preparation is crucial for a safe, seamless, and unforgettable helicopter experience.

Before the Helicopter flight to Everest Base Camp, you should be aware of the following:

  • Check the Weather Forecast: The weather in the Everest region can change rapidly. Morning flights are usually the clearest, and your operator will notify you of any delays or rescheduling as needed.
  • Stay in Kathmandu at Least One Day Before: Arrive a day early so that the team can brief you, verify documents, and alleviate last-minute stress. This also allows your body to adjust slightly before travelling to high altitudes.
  • Understand the Weight Limit: The helicopter has a strict weight capacity of approximately 500 kg, including all passengers. You may be separated into groups based on your total weight. Carry only a small daypack containing necessities.
  • Keep Important Documents Ready: Make sure you have all of the important documents ready, and you must have:
  1. Passport copy
  2. Travel insurance
  3. Flight ticket (return/onward)
  4. Booking confirmation
  • Dress for High-Altitude Weather: Even during the peak season, temperatures at Everest Base Camp can drop below freezing. Dress warmly, preferably with a down jacket, gloves, a hat, sunglasses, and closed shoes.
  • Pack Only Essential Items: Keep a power bank, sunscreen, a small water bottle, a fully charged phone or camera, and any personal medications with you. Strict load limits apply, so stay away from heavy bags.
  • Be Aware of Altitude Effects: At about 5,364 metres, where the oxygen content is lower, you will land. Steer clear of abrupt physical activity, move slowly, and drink plenty of water. Although there is little risk because of your brief stay at the landing spot, awareness is crucial.
  • Listen to the Safety Briefing: The pilot will explain how to approach the helicopter, where to sit, how to use the seatbelts, and what to do in an emergency. Follow all guidelines to ensure your safety.
  • Book With a Trustworthy Company: Because Himalayan flights are weather-dependent and require expert handling, selecting a reputable operator is critical. Booking with Mount Glory Treks guarantees skilled pilots, well-maintained aircraft, clear communication, and a seamless experience from beginning to end.

Is it safe to fly to Mount Everest Base Camp by Helicopter?

Helicopter flights to EBC are generally regarded as safe when conducted by certified operators and skilled pilots. If you choose a reputable operator, such as Mount Glory Treks, follow pre-flight instructions and adhere to altitude and weight restrictions, flying to Everest Base Camp in a helicopter is safe, quick, and reliable.

  • Strict Government Regulations: All flights adhere to the Nepal Civil Aviation Authority (CAAN) regulations, which include weight limits, flight altitude restrictions, and safety protocols for landing at Kala Patthar or Everest View Hotel.

  • Aircraft Safety: The helicopters used for Everest region tours are well-maintained, modern, and designed for high-altitude flights. Operators will conduct regular inspections to ensure maximum safety.
  • Minimal Physical Risk: Helicopter tours are less physically demanding than strenuous trekking, which lowers the risk of fatigue. Passengers only need to follow the safety instructions while boarding, in flight, and landing, which is not difficult.

Is There an Age Limit for the Everest Base Camp Heli Tour?

There is no official age limit for the quick EBC heli tour with landing, but most operators follow practical safety rules about altitude exposure, health condition and passenger comfort. As this tour goes to high-altitude zones like Kala Patthar (around 5,500 m), the emphasis is more on physical readiness than age alone.

In general, children over 2 years of age are allowed to fly with their own seat, while younger infants may travel on a guardian's lap, depending on the policy.

Many companies do have a minimum age of about 5-7 for landing tours at high altitude, mainly because the sudden gain in altitude and cold temperatures can affect very young children differently.

Similarly, there is no fixed maximum age limit on the upper side, but elderly travellers are advised to have stable health conditions, especially related to heart, blood pressure and respiratory function, before joining the Everest Base Camp helicopter landing experience.

For safety purposes, operators of helicopter tour packages may ask passengers to have basic medical awareness, especially if they are very young, elderly or have pre-existing conditions. High altitude coverage travel insurance is often recommended, especially for landing Everest tours.

    Useful Information

Best time to do the 1 Day Mount Everest Tour by Helicopter

Unlike trekking, the Heli Tour to EBC is a helicopter ride tour that is available all year round. Even though the journey is possible at any time of year, there are best and worst times to go.

One of the best times to take a helicopter tour to Everest is in the spring, from March to May, when the weather is stable, visibility is good, and the views of the mountains are pristine. The landscape comes to life with blooming rhododendrons, and the skies continue to shine.

Similarly, the autumn season, which runs from September to November, offers the best flying conditions, with calm winds, dry days, and razor-sharp Himalayan panoramas of the Everest Region.

Autumn is known as the most reliable season for helicopter operations, so book your one-day heli tour to EBC during this time.

For your Everest chopper trip, the early winter months of December through mid-January are also ideal. Clear skies, fewer people, and snow-capped peaks are additional benefits of this season, despite the lower temperatures.

Generally speaking, the monsoon and late winter months are best avoided because they impair visibility and safety due to clouds, rain, and heavy snowfall. You won't get the full experience of this Luxury trip to EBC, and the flights won't be as predictable.

Flexibility of the Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour With Landing

The Everest Helicopter Tour is super flexible and perfect for everyone – solo adventurers, couples, families, groups, and even if you're new to this. Whether you want a private experience, a romantic trip, a fun time with friends, or an exciting family adventure, this tour is just right. If you love taking pictures, you'll get awesome shots of the Himalayas. And if you're new to all this, no worries – it's a safe and easy journey. The EBC heli tour is like a door to the world's highest mountains. Anyone can join in, no matter who you are, and you'll see how amazing Everest is and make awesome memories together.

Packing List for Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour

You do need a proper packing list for the EBC helicopter tour, even though it is only a one-day trip that lasts five hours. Because the base of the world's tallest mountain is not a joke. And, for your own safety, you should be well-prepared for the tour.

For the one-day helicopter tour to EBC, the following packing list is essential:

    Clothing

    • Warm-down jacket (necessary because of EBC's below-freezing temperatures)

Safety measures during the Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour

Safety measures preparation is very important during the Everest Base Camp tour with a helicopter. Here are some essential safety measures:

    • Choose a well-established, reputable helicopter company with experienced pilots and a good safety record.
    • The weather is unpredictable in the Everest region. Ensure the weather is safe and only fly in safe conditions.
    • Ensure you are in good health before travelling.
    • Prepare warm clothing, bring sunglasses, and sunscreen to protect against UV rays at high altitudes.
    • Always wear your seat belt during the flight, and verify that the helicopter is safety-equipped with oxygen tanks, first aid kits, and emergency communication devices.
    • Stay well-hydrated before or during the trip. Dehydration can increase altitude sickness symptoms.

Why go to the Everest Base Camp Tour with a Helicopter?

Getting to Everest Base Camp by helicopter offers a remarkable combination of breathtaking scenery. The helicopter ride significantly reduces the time to reach Everest Base Camp and other peaks. You will experience stunning, majestic mountains, providing a unique opportunity that hikers cannot offer. Helicopter rides are also comfortable, overcoming time constraints or physical limitations. This mode of travel is also suitable for the elderly and those of small stature. This thrilling tour combines adventure with travel, creating a memorable experience at one of the world's most breathtaking locations.

    Permits For Everest Helicopter Tour

Despite the short duration of the journey, the quick one-day Everest Base Camp helicopter trip requires permits. You must still follow Nepalese government regulations when entering the Everest region. The following permits are required for your tour:

Sagarmatha National Park Entry Permit: All flyers and trekkers entering the Everest region must obtain this permit because Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar are part of Sagarmatha National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

    Cost: NPR 3,000 Per Person

Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality Permit: The local municipality (Khumbu Pasang Lhamu) charges a permit fee to help fund community services and park management.

    Cost: NPR 3,000 Per Person

Note: You must understand that this package does not include the cost of permits, so you will need to pay an additional fee for the permits while flying to Everest. Please bring 6000 NPR Cash

Breakfast at the World’s Highest Hotel, Everest View Hotel

One of the highlights of the heli ride to Everest is a stop at the world's highest hotel and a luxurious breakfast. After the flypast at EBC, your next stop will be the Hotel Everest View (3,880 m) in Syangboche.

You can have a hearty breakfast or tea while admiring the breathtaking panoramic views of nearby peaks such as Mount Everest, Ama Dablam, Lhotse, and Nuptse. It's a 10/10 experience that will never be beaten.

The Everest View Hotel, famous for its unique location, provides travellers with a rare opportunity to experience Himalayan luxury in a remote setting.
This brief stop also provides opportunities for photography, relaxation, and appreciation of the surrounding Sagarmatha National Park landscapes before returning to Kathmandu.

Most group and private heli tours to EBC include a hotel landing, making this the ideal brief stop at high altitude without strenuous trekking.

Additionally, the one-day EBC helicopter tour does not include breakfast at the hotel Everest View, so you will have to pay for it yourself. If you want to have a proper breakfast, expect to pay around NPR 4,000-5,000 (USD 30-35) per person.

It is recommended that you always carry extra cash in Nepali rupees, as card payments or foreign currency may not always be accepted in remote areas.

How can we prevent altitude sickness when taking a Helicopter tour?

Some travellers may still experience altitude sickness even though the EBC Heli ride is significantly shorter and less physically taxing than the typical EBC trek. Because the helicopter can land at high altitudes in a matter of minutes, some people might have trouble.

    Why Altitude Sickness Can Occur

    • Rapid ascents in the high Himalayas by helicopter give the body less time to adjust to lower oxygen levels.
    • Symptoms may include headache, dizziness, shortness of breath, nausea, or mild fatigue, so do not ignore them.
    • Severe altitude sickness is uncommon on short helicopter tours, but it can occur in sensitive individuals.

How to Avoid or Reduce It

    • Drink plenty of water before and during your flight.
    • Avoid alcohol and heavy meals, as these can exacerbate altitude effects.
    • When you step out at EBC or Kala Patthar, walk slowly and avoid sudden exertion.
    • Use oxygen if necessary. Some operators give sensitive passengers extra oxygen.
    • Arriving a day earlier in Kathmandu or flying to lower altitude points before heading to EBC can help you acclimatise.
    • Follow the pilots' instructions for movement, boarding, and emergency procedures.

Why doesn’t the Helicopter stop at the Everest Base Camp, 5364m?

Most Everest region helicopter tours do not land directly at EBC for safety, regulatory, and logistical reasons:

EBC is located at an elevation of 5,364 metres, where the thin air lowers the lift of the helicopter. Due to the high-altitude safety limits, only helicopters carrying a small number of passengers, typically two, can safely land or take off at this altitude.

The overflight at EBC is the safest option because the Heli Tour to EBC is a group-sharing package that frequently exceeds the weight limit for a safe landing.

Even seasoned pilots find the landing hazardous due to the base camp's high winds, abrupt storms, and turbulence in the Khumbu region.

The primary cause is government regulations; in order to protect passenger safety, the Nepal Civil Aviation Authority (CAAN) enforces stringent guidelines for high-altitude helicopter landings, and unapproved landings are subject to severe penalties.

Additionally, the majority of group tours, such as the one-day helicopter tour to EBC, are made to provide a brief, picturesque experience with a landing at the Everest View Hotel, which is much safer and simpler for everyone.

How long will the Helicopter landings be during the EBC Helicopter Tour?

The EBC tour by helicopter has a few necessary landings or stops along the way. Following the takeoff from Kathmandu, the first landing would be in Lukla for a refuelling stop on the way up.

It is a quick 10-minute refuelling stop, and most passengers remain near or inside the helicopters. There are no sightseeing opportunities.

The second stop is Pheriche, which is the shuttle stop because the helicopter needs to lose weight for high altitude. Passengers are then shuttled in smaller groups, with those who remain behind having time to rest, hydrate, and take quick photos.

After the flypast at the EBC and nearby locations, you will land at the Everest View Hotel for breakfast. You can eat breakfast while taking in stunning views of Everest during your one-hour stay at the hotel. Furthermore, it is the safest altitude for a prolonged stop.

While returning from Kathmandu, you will make another stop in Lukla for refuelling before continuing your journey back.

Weight Limit For Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour

The weight limit during the helicopter ride to EBC is critical because it determines how many passengers can fit in a single helicopter ride and how many can fly over the Everest region at once.

Helicopters that fly at high altitudes can carry up to 500 kg in total, including passengers, pilots, and fuel.

During tours to the Everest region, helicopters typically carry 3-5 passengers at a time, but this number may be reduced if the total weight exceeds the limit.

The air density decreases as altitude increases, so the helicopter can carry fewer people above 4,000 metres.

Furthermore, to safely reach the Everest region viewpoints, helicopters split passengers into smaller groups of usually 2-3 people from Pheriche, which is around 4,200 metres high.

Your weight is measured prior to the heli ride for balance mapping and seating arrangements, and small personal items and large bags are limited to 3-5 kg per person.

Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour vs Everest Base Camp Trek

Everest Base Camp is one of the most popular Himalayan destinations, and whether you arrive by trek or helicopter, the main goal is to get there. However, your decision regarding the EBC helicopter tour or EBC trek may differ based on your preferences, health, time, money, comfort, experience, motivation, and other factors.

Therefore, we offer the advantages and disadvantages of both the Everest Base Camp trek and the heli tour to help you make your decision:

    Time Efficiency

    • Heli Tour: Perfect for travellers short on time because it just takes about five hours to reach Everest Base Camp in a single day.
    • Trek: The standard trek to the EBC package takes 12-14 days and requires extensive planning and stamina.

    Comfort

    • Heli Tour: Provides comfortable aerial sightseeing, a luxurious breakfast at the Everest View Hotel, and a hassle-free experience with little physical exertion.
    • Trek: Involves physically taxing days, long walks, and simple teahouses.

    Adventure & Experience

    • Heli Tour: More suited for people who are unable to trek or who have time or health restrictions but still want to experience the Everest region, this tour focuses on beautiful aerial views rather than physical adventure.
    • Trek: Ideal for thrill-seekers who want to experience the full adventure of the EBC by trekking through high-altitude trails, interacting with Sherpa villages, and immersing themselves in the Himalayas.

    Accessibility & Fitness Level

    • Heli Tour: Suitable for all ages and fitness levels; no prior trekking experience required.
    • Trekking: Moderate to high fitness required; ideal for those who can walk long distances at high altitudes.

    Scenic Exposure

    • Heli Tour: Provides panoramic aerial views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, and surrounding peaks, with scenic views from the Kala Patthar landing.
    • Trek: Provides close-up views of trails, glaciers, rivers, and village life, but only from the ground.

    Altitude Exposure & Safety

    • Heli Tour: Short exposure to high altitudes reduces the risk of severe altitude sickness.
    • Trek: Longer exposure; proper acclimatisation is required to avoid altitude sickness.

    Customisation & Special Occasions

    • Heli Tour: Easy Access offers this great for celebrating anniversaries, birthdays, or photography-focused trips.
    • Trek: Ideal for those seeking an authentic trekking adventure and physical accomplishment.

    Cost Consideration

    • Heli Tour: More expensive but condenses the experience into a luxurious, time-saving package.
    • Trek: More affordable overall, but requires continuous dedication.

EBC Tour by Helicopter vs EBC Tour by Plane

The plane tour is another well-liked package that is somewhat similar to the helicopter tour but different in many aspects. Additionally, both packages are better, but which one you choose will depend on your goals and expectations for the EBC tour.

    Experience

    • Plane Tour: A scenic mountain flight that passes over Everest and other Himalayan peaks without landing on the ground.
    • Helicopter Tour: Close-up aerial views and optional landing experiences are provided by this scenic helicopter flight that lands over the EBC region and at high-altitude locations like the Everest View Hotel and Kala Patthar.

    Duration & Time

    • Plane Tour: It is a short experience which is typically between 50 minutes and 1 1-hour round-trip flight from Kathmandu.
    • Helicopter Tour: A longer flight lasting four to five hours that includes stops, flight segments, and the option to land at picturesque locations.

    Cost

    • Plane Tour: It is a great option for budget-conscious travellers who want to see the Himalayas and Everest but have a limited budget. The cost is approximately USD $250 per person.
    • Helicopter Tour: Generally more expensive, costing between USD 1150 and USD 1290+ depending on the size of the group, but perfect for those seeking a more immersive Everest experience, the closest proximity to the EBC, and a landing on Kala Patthar.

    Views & Close-Up Experience

    • Plane Tour: Excellent aerial photos and expansive views of the Himalayas, but no ground landing or up-close base camp experience; ideal for tourists wishing to see the Himalayas from above.
    • Helicopter Tour: Provides more intimate views of the Khumbu region, as well as the opportunity to land at high-altitude sites like Syangboche/Kala Patthar.

    Who It’s Best For

    • Plane Tour: Ideal for people who have limited time and money, want to see Everest only from the air, and want a simple, comfortable aerial experience that doesn't require landing.
    • Helicopter Tour: Better for tourists who want a more luxurious adventure-style trip without the strenuous physical demands of trekking, as well as closer scenic exposure and landing moments.

    Physical Effort & Accessibility

    • Plane Tour: No physical strain. For families, elderly travellers, or those with limited mobility, simply fly and take in the scenery.
    • Helicopter Tour: Still less strenuous than trekking, but with more active components like landing and taking off at a height.

    Photo & Memory Value

    • Plane Tour: Perfect for capturing breathtaking aerial photos of Everest, the surrounding ranges, and glaciers from a cosy window seat.
    • Helicopter Tour: Perfect for photographers looking for more dramatic imagery, it provides unique, closer aerial and ground-level moments.

    Minimise Environmental Impact

    • Avoid landing in delicate high-altitude areas and stick to approved landing locations like Kala Patthar and Everest View Hotel.

    Respect Local Culture & Communities

    • Be mindful of Sherpa villages, monasteries, and prayer sites visible from above or during landings.
    • When visiting establishments like Sherpa-owned stores or the Everest View Hotel, show your support for local companies.
    • Learn some basic local customs and greetings; a little respect goes a long way.

    Choose Licensed & Ethical Operators

    • For safe and trustworthy operations, make bookings with businesses licensed by the Nepal Tourism Board, NMA, and TAAN.

    Responsible Photography & Drones

    • Avoid disturbing local people or wildlife while taking photos.
    • Drones are frequently prohibited in protected areas; adhere closely to park and aviation regulations.

    Health & Safety Responsibility

    • For landing, altitude exposure, and emergencies, stick to all pilot and guide instructions.

Safety During Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour

The Everest Helicopter Tour is safe if it is taken in the right weather conditions and under professional guidance. The flight also crosses high-altitude areas, so basic safety precautions regarding the oxygen level, weather checks and controlled landing timing are strictly followed to ensure a smooth experience.

Here is an additional safety checklist that guarantees your smooth trip

    • All Everest helicopter flights are conducted by skilled pilots with extensive training in high-altitude Himalayan flying, adhering to stringent safety regulations.
    • To prevent discomfort from altitude, extra oxygen is available on board, and exposure times at high-altitude landing locations are kept brief.
    • Before every flight to Everest, weather conditions, wind speed and visibility are checked, and departures are delayed or cancelled if conditions are not safe.
    • Passengers are advised to take it easy on landing stops where the oxygen level is below 5,000 feet.
    • The weight balance and seat arrangement are carefully handled to maintain stability during flight in mountain conditions.
    • It is advisable to wear warm clothes and sunglasses to protect yourself from the cold weather and strong UV rays at the Everest viewpoints.
    • Anyone with heart, lung or serious medical conditions should consult a doctor before signing up for the Helicopter Tour.

Common Myths About Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour

Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour with landing from Kathmandu is one of the most popular luxury experiences in Nepal, but there are several misconceptions around it.

Having the right facts will allow travellers to make smarter choices and understand what this Everest helicopter tour really provides in terms of safety, altitude exposure and landing access.

    • Helicopters land directly at Everest Base Camp: Direct landing at Everest Base Camp is generally prohibited due to glacier conditions and environmental restrictions. Most Everest helicopter landing tours land at Kala Patthar or the Everest View Hotel, both of which provide excellent close-up views of Mount Everest.
    • The Everest helicopter tour is unsafe because of high altitude: In reality, Everest helicopter tours are led by highly experienced pilots who have been trained specifically for the Himalaya. With proper weather checks, controlled flight paths, and onboard oxygen support, the Everest Base Camp helicopter tour is considered a safe and well-managed travel experience.
    • You feel altitude sickness immediately during the tour: The helicopter climbs quickly to altitude but does not stay on the ground for long, so exposure time is short. Most travellers experience little or no symptoms, and good pacing on the landing helps with comfort.
    • The tour is only for luxury travellers or VIPs: Although the Everest helicopter tour is often regarded as a luxury experience, it is now popular among all types of travellers, including families, elderly visitors, and trekkers with limited time who want to get to Everest Base Camp quickly.
    • Weather never affects Everest helicopter flights: Weather plays a significant role in flight safety. Flying in the Khumbu region requires clear visibility, so flights are frequently delayed or rescheduled if wind, cloud cover, or mountain conditions are unfavourable.

Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour With Landing FAQs

    • A quick but once-in-a-lifetime Himalayan experience, the Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour with landing takes you from Kathmandu deep into the Everest region in a single morning. Rather than trekking for days, this Everest helicopter tour whisks you straight over the Khumbu Valley, with landing stops at high-altitude viewpoints such as Kala Patthar 5555m or the Everest View Hotel for Breakfast, depending on weather and flight conditions.

    • The experience starts with a beautiful early-morning flight from Kathmandu, from the hills into the deep Himalayan terrain. As the helicopter approaches Everest, it passes through dramatic landscapes of glaciers, Sherpa villages, and towering peaks. Without having to hike for days, the landing phase offers a quick but intense high-altitude experience where you can step outside, take pictures, and experience the true atmosphere of the Everest region.

    • The Everest Heli tour cost varies depending on whether it is a shared group flight or a private charter. Shared flights are typically less expensive per person, but private Everest helicopter trips are more flexible, private, and provide customised landing options, making them a popular choice for families, couples, and photographers.

    • Most helicopters used for Everest Base Camp tours carry around four to five passengers, depending on weight and weather conditions. Seating arrangements are adjusted carefully to ensure safety and balance during high-altitude flying.

A truly amazing tour which words cannot describe. The most breathtaking scenery, views of Everest, and breakfast at the Everest View hotel. All arranged by Santosh, who was incredible. Met us at the hotel the night before to discuss arrangements, picked us up the next morning, took us to the airport, saw that we got onto the helicopter, and then met us at the end of the trip to take us back to the hotel. He was truly magnificent and obviously loves his country and his job. Cannot recommend highly enough
