            Useful Information

            Best Time To Do Pikey Peak Trek:

            Pikey Peak Trek can trek throughout the year. Autumn seasons (September- December) are the best time of the year for Pikey Peak Trek. Autumn is considered the festive season as major festivals are celebrated in the seasons. As the weather is wonderful and excellent during this period. Likewise, the spring season (March-June) is also the finest season to trek for Pikey Peak Trek in Nepal, the weather will be finest.

            In the Monsoon season (June – August), it is suggested not to trek at this time. The heavy rainfalls may cause landslides and flooding, the trail will be slippery and leeches will encroach you throughout the forest trail. And the area can be extremely wet.

             

            Accommodation and Facilities During Pikey Peak Trek:

            In Pikey Peak, you will be accommodated on well-facilitated lodges. Along with comfortable beds, you have common shared bathrooms in most places, while you will find rooms with attached bathrooms in Pikey Peak Base Camp. 

            Just like other trekking trails, a hot shower will cost you extra. You have the facilities of electricity and Wi-Fi that are not constrained to the dining hall but in the rooms as well. While some places like Bulbule might have some connection problems. 

            With Dal Bhat being the most common and recommended food, you also get a variety of menu options. However, some continental options might not be available, reasoning the ingredients being out of stock from time to time. 

             

            Who can join this 5 Days Pikey Peak Trek?

            Pikey Peak Trek 5 Days is a moderate-level trek. So if you are active in day-to-day life, a light preparation indulging in some light exercises, running, swimming, and cycling will do. 

            Although the Pikey Peak trek, compared to other trekking trails, does not include steep ascend and descent, the early morning hike to Pikey Peak will be challenging with long-hours hike.  Also, the hike from Boudha to Pikey Peak base camp and Pikey Peak can be very windy. 

            It is always advisable to consult with the doctors if you have joint and breathing issues and to get travel insurance. 


            Guide & Potters for Pikey Peak Trek:

            Although the Pikey Peak trail is easy to trace, having a local expert will make your trip more fun and easy. Having a guide ensures your safety against potential hazards, provides assistance in emergencies, gives you cultural insights, removes language barriers, and arranges all the arrangements on your behalf. 

            Letting a potter carry your heavy stuff enhances your overall experience allowing you to move at your comfortable pace, reducing strain on your body.
