When to trek to Everest Base Camp and Gokyo Lakes Trek?

The best time to trek is the dry season from October to May. The worst time is the monsoon season period from June to September. This generalization does not allow for the particularity of individual treks.

                                Autumn season

The first September to November three months offers the best weather for hiking around the mountain region. The air freshly washed by the monsoon rains is crystal clear, the mountain scenery is superb and the weather is still comfortably warm.

                                Spring season

From March to May, the weather has been dry and dust is starting to hang in the air, affecting visibility. Despite this, vibrant wildflowers, especially rhododendrons, create breathtaking landscapes, making up for diminished mountain vistas. Furthermore, we highly recommend the autumn and spring seasons as the best for trekking and climbing in Nepal.
