Accommodation on the Mardi Himal Trek

The hike of the Mardi Himal journey at the beautiful Gurung townlet is known for its majestic view of the hills and for furnishing you with a place to rest and relax.

Accommodation will be normal in all the mountain regions. The apartments have 2 to 3 beds and have no private restroom. The lodges then have wi-fi services. The cost of the room ranges from USD 5 to 15, depending on the season. For a fresh charge per head, pail showers can be available, wi-fi installation is available at the timber camp or low camp.

The accommodation installations are smaller as you lift to an advanced mound. The options for food also come smaller as compared to the low altitude. As you get to high camp, you get a little more expensive in accommodation and food than low camp.

Mardi Himal Trek Difficulty

Mardi Himal Base Camp Trek is a trip of around 41 KM and to cover that distance, you’ll need to perform 5 to 6 hours of touring. Mardi Himal Trek is an easy to moderate level difficulty trekking in the Annapurna Mountain Region of Nepal with a maximum elevation of 4500m from sea level which is Mardi Himal Base Camp. Trekkers with no or little Himalayan trekking experience can face some challenges while doing this. The trekkers with no similar experience will find this journey delicate. So, touring length and time of the journey can be problems for some pedestrians. else, it's an easy trip to the Nepal mountain.

Altitude Sickness and Prevention

Mardi Himal Base camp is the ultimate height you’ll achieve in this journey. Pedestrians will reach a maximum height of 4500 measures during the Mardi Himal journey. As a consequence, altitude sickness is a normal miracle on the trip. Altitude sickness is popular at advanced elevations trip is a veritably pivotal problem.

Different bodies respond to altitude sickness else, so one of the major factors affecting trip difficulty is altitude sickness. Some can find it grueling while some can survive it.

Trekkers will reach a maximum height of 4500 measures during the Mardi Himal journey. The possibility of altitude sickness on the trip is veritably common. Any of the altitude sickness symptoms include headaches, briefness of breath, nausea, and diarrhea. Drinking plenitude of water and enabling your body to acclimatize are the ways to overcome these problems.

Why Travel Insurance is Required

Travel insurance is needed for all trekkers taking part in our Mardi Himal journey. Your travel insurance plan covers all medical and travel-related issues as well as accidents that may occur on the trekking routes. For trekkers in the Mountains region, the insurance covers the cost of helicopter deliverance, air ambulance, clinical attention, and so on at coming through the problems of high altitudes. We explosively suggest that all of our guests buy a comprehensive travel insurance package.

Weather and Temperature

The weather and temperature in the mountains are changeable. Trekkers nowadays know how and when it can change. still, the weather and temperatures feel to stay calm in the Autumn and Spring.

Trekking during these times will give you a less dangerous trip experience as the weather and temperatures during these seasons will give you better weather conditions. But it gets unsuitable in winter and monsoon. This season is among the less favored hiking ages. Hikers generally avoid the months of December, January, February, June, July, and August.

Mardi Himal's average day temperature in the winter is from 9 degrees to 12 degrees. These temperatures fall by 5 degrees as every 1000 measures you lift. But the nights get cold, and fall a temperature from 0 degrees to 5 degrees. Above all of that, the temperatures in advanced places are always cold and challenging for people living in sticky and low-altitude places.

Guides and Porters Service

Mardi Himal Odyssey is a newly established route, and though the trails are well marked, the route mostly leads through the dense jungle, so it's easy to get confused. So we recommend having a guide.

Since it is a moderate-level Hike, hiring a porter to carry your stuff will make your trip more enjoyable. In our package details, we are not providing the porter service. If some one wants to hire a porter service during the trip we arrange it as per their request at an additional cost.

Electricity Charging and Wi-Fi

Wi-Fi and electricity are available in the tea houses in the lower zones of the Mardi Himal journey. The trekkers can recharge while maintaining an active social media. There may be an extra charge of over $3 for wi-fi and charging stations at the tea houses. There is no electricity facility after Deurali only solar power is available, which can bring you around $3 to charge your phone and other electronics. There are 2 common networks in Nepal (NTC and NCELL) which you buy for 1.5 to 3 USD. Both work in Mardi Trek but in base camp NTC is better than NCELL. When you are at a higher altitude it will be hard to access the mobile network, Wi-Fi, and electricity. We advise hikers to travel with interim power banks.

Drinking Water and a Hot Shower.

The water from the sources along the way is unsafe to drink. So, we suggested not to drink directly from the top. Bottle of the water is available to buy throughout the way. The best idea is to bring your refillable bottles along with water sanctification tablets to help against the threat of waterborne diseases. You can fill the water at the teahouse along the trip whereas boiled water is also available with minimum charges. still, we discourage buying mineral bottled water that helps to produce plastic pollution in the mountains.
