The Council of Ministers has decided that tourists coming from abroad do not have to stay in mandatory quarantine. A cabinet meeting held on Thursday decided that tourists who have been vaccinated and bring a 72-hour report will not have to stay in quarantine.
Minister for Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation Bhanubhakta Dhakal has informed us that the quarantine system has been removed. Tourism authorities had been demanding the removal of mandatory quarantine for foreign tourists visiting Nepal. They demanded that the foreign tourists coming to Nepal with a 72-hour PCR negative report should stay in mandatory quarantine for five days.
